iClickers

An iClicker, a personal response unit, is included as part of the Mobile Computing Program package beginning Fall 2007. Students who are not participating in the Mobile Computing Program can purchase an iClicker at the Rensselaer Campus Computer Store.

iClickers must be registered in order for you to use them in class. Please refer to the iClicker website to register your device.

New registrations of the same iClicker ID overwrite any old ones. Therefore, there is no problem in acquiring a pre-owned iClicker and registering it to yourself.

It is also suggested that students re-register their iClickers at the start of each semester to ensure accuracy of registration.

An additional reminder: When registering an iClicker, use your RCS ID, not RIN. This is necessary for compatibility with RPILMS, where the user ID is the student's RCS ID.
