I am over quota, what can I do?Simply put: remove files from Webmail/IMAP. First, if you are using a TRASH folder empty it. Do this by entering the TRASH folder, and pressing the "Empty Folder" button. Second, delete files you do not need. Don't forget to check for old messages---especially messages with attachments---in the Sent folder. Note, if these files are large, and the TRASH folder is enabled, you might not be able to delete them without first disabling TRASH. See Failure encountered while attempting to move message(s) to TRASH.\Server says: "Over quota " for more information. For best performance, you should also removed deleted messages from the POP3 (incoming mail) server. For more information see: I get "POP Server error" or "Can't Login to POP server", and When I delete email on WebMail, it still shows up in Outlook (and, other email clients). Note, if you use more than one IMAP client to access your email, those clients may have created their own "trash" and "sent" folders. Don't forget to check them for unwanted messages. (See Why do I have more than one trash folder? for more information.) Finally, you can archive old email on a desk- or lap- top computer using another IMAP capable email program, such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, etc. Or, by using an IMAP archiving/Quota management program such as IMAPSize For details see: Can I use Outlook (or another email client) to read my WebMail email?
